This will be one of Norway's most advanced biogas plants, tailored to handle large quantities of organic waste from both agriculture and aquaculture in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A strategic resource node<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The plant is designed to process <strong>150,000 tonnes of biomass annually<\/strong>. Through close collaboration with local stakeholders, we ensure a robust, circular value chain where nothing goes to waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We accept:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Aquaculture<\/strong> Fish sludge and fish silage directly from Salmar and other operators in the aquaculture industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Agriculture<\/strong> Manure from nearby farms, which is converted into valuable energy before the nutrients are returned to the soil.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Future products for transport and industry<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By harnessing the market's best technologies, including Antec's proprietary solutions, we manufacture high-value products:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Liquefied biogas (LBG):<\/strong> A green, zero-emission fuel alternative for lorries and ships, contributing to a more sustainable transport sector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Precision fertiliser:<\/strong> We produce a nutrient-rich bio-fertiliser where phosphorus and nitrogen are separated. This enables local farmers to fertilise more precisely, improve crop yields and cut the need for synthetic fertilisers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Green CO\u2082<\/strong> In the next phase, we are planning the capture of biogenic CO\u2082 for use in the food industry, which closes the loop even further.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Local economic impacts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Malm Biogass is to be a key player for sustainable energy in the region. The project will generate significant activity in the municipality:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>5 to 7 direct jobs<\/strong> related to operations and administration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>6\u20138 indirect jobs<\/strong> within logistics, transport and maintenance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Status and progress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project is now in <strong>FEED phase<\/strong> (Front-End Engineering Design).
